On the 9th of July 2017 I was lucky enough to get an all access pass to the Victoria Baths in Manchester. I was given a tour of parts of the building not open to the general public ans well as the chance to photograph my stunning model in this gorgeous setting.
The Grade II listed Victoria Baths opened to the public back in 1906 only to be closed by Manchester City council in 1993 and subsequently left derelict. A multi-million pound restoration project began in 2007. Since then the baths have been used as a wedding venue, filming location, concert venue, exhibition centre and have even housed events hosted by the Warehouse Project.
My goal for this shoot was to create a series of photos as unique as the venue itself and try to capture the haunting beauty of this truly special place.
